It is our pleasure to report that an 8-person team led by Prof. Paweł Frelik has just received a major grant from NPRH (National Programme for the Development of the Humanities). The project titled “Polskie dziedzictwo gier cyfrowych 1958-2025 – opracowanie katalogowo-bibliograficzne” [Polish Digital Games Heritage 1958-2025: An Index and Bibliography] will run for five years and result in the creation of a public-facing online catalog of all Polish-made video games documenting their bibliographical data and critical writing about them. The research group comprises scholars from Jagiellonian University, SWPS University, University of Tampere, and University of Wrocław as well as several early-career researchers.

Student research grant 2025/26

The American Studies Center is pleased to announce a competition for student research grants. The grants will support students’ work on their MA theses and BA papers written in conjunction with their BA seminars. As the research must be related to a BA paper or an MA thesis, 3rd-year BA students and MA students of all years will have priority.
